Thanks for picking up on the holes in the article, clear-eyed thinkers are needed to improve all articles. But on a personal note, can you be a member of WP DC and WP Marvel. I'm sure the rules of the universe require you to choose one or the other? What next? WP Dark Horse? FruitMonkey (talk) 23:12, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
Hi. A disagreement has arisen over which of two photos would be better as the main Infobox image for the Ben Templesmith article. Can you participate in this discussion? Thanks, and Happy Holidays. :-) Nightscream (talk) 04:46, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
Hi Lejman, I tried to make the Realms of Despair page easier to understand by a non-MUDder. Would you mind checking it for accuracy? Thanks, GentlemanGhost (talk) 22:03, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

With the first of what I hope will be monthly newsletters I again want to welcome you to the project and hope that as we all work together through the year we can expand the project, create missing articles and generally improve the pedia thought mutual cooperation and support. Now that we have a project and a solid pool of willing members I wanted to strike while the iron is hot and solicite help in doing a few things that I believe is a good next step in solidifiing the project. I have outlined a few suggestions where you can help with on the projects talk page. This includes but is not limited too updating Portal:United States, assessing the remaining US related articles that haven't been assessed, eliminating the Unrefernced BLP's and others. If you have other suggestions or are interested in doing other things feel free. I just wanted to offer a few suggestions were additional help is needed. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, comments or suggestions or you can always post something on the projects talk page. If you do not want to recieve a monthly message please put an * before your name on the members page.--Kumioko (talk) 03:29, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

Hi there,
I was looking at the cover images uploaded by people and making a tally to see who I could contact for help, and I noticed that you have uploaded a few such images. Obviously I'm not asking you to take this whole thing on by yourself, but any help you can give is appreciated at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Dungeons & Dragons#Need book cover images. Thanks! :) BOZ (talk) 01:52, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

Hadn't seen you in awhile, and just wanted to say hi : ) - jc37 21:18, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
First off thanks for sending me the message. I still have to disagree, regardless of what has been discussed the CGC page has been targeted by vandals with a questionable POV and agenda to the point where it is currently semi-protected and was fully protected until I requested an admin to unlock it. I am fine with any information that pertains to the subject that can be verified by the wikipedia definition of a reliable source. The source has again 2 issues, WP:primary reliable source. Bottom line the criticism section has been taggged for 4 years now, somewhat ridiculous. I would rather just scrap it, start over. Instead of haggling over a blog reference just wipe the section, start from scratch, follow wiki policies, get references, most importantly do it from a NPOV which is the biggest glaring problem. Too many people come to to forward an agenda instead of just contributing. --0pen$0urce (talk) 17:18, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Spider Woman 1978 Issue 9.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 19:15, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

I saw your comment on the "the/The Beatles" poll about bands in other languages, especially Spanish. I'm with you on the Beatles, but I think we have to capitalize with foreign-language names, since "Los" isn't an English word. You could refer to "the Fabulosos Cadillacs," but that seems mangled. --BDD (talk) 17:34, 3 October 2012 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Star Trek planets (R–S), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rura Penthe (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi there GentlemanGhost! I've noticed you have yourself listed as a member of the Food and Drink Wikiproject. Unfortunately it looks like the project has been slowly sliding into inactivity except for a couple of people. That makes me a sad potato, and nobody likes a sad potato amirite?
If you'd like to turn my frown upside down, can you do two small things?
First off, go here and add ((Tick)) ( ) next to your name if you're still part of the project.
Second, go to the project talkpage and participate in a discussion about how to make the project more active, and how to go about making articles in our area of interest a lot better.
You don't want to make me cry, do you? Potatoes have a lot of eyes you know. So come on, join in! :)

Hello there, I saw your named on Wikiproject United States and that you have a particular interest in California. I'm new to Wikipedia editing and would like to contribute to this area as well. Do you have any suggestions for articles that need work? Or the types of contributions a newcomer could make? I lived and traveled throughout northern California for the most part, so that's the geographic area I'm most comfortable with/have interest in. But I'm of course willing to help out however I can with the project. Looking forward to hearing from you, Thanks! ArielEBarry (talk) 03:53, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
Thank you for opening a dialogue. I've long observed that well-developed articles, such as Good Articles or Featured Articles, do not employ consecutive citations of the same source in the same paragraph (i.e.: a citation for each sentence), and I've always removed them, as far back as I can remember. As for what the community thinks, I think this is a pretty good gauge of it, and reflects my observations. Citing each sentence in a paragraph when it's the same source for the entire paragraph is redundant, and adhered to consistently, would lead to a nightmare of citation clutter. I know the discussion has somehow devolved to that, but the proposal is not to prefer "character" (or anything else) to "comics", but to remove the seeming implication that "comics" should be the default at the expense of other appropriate, more general options. I've been pondering removing "character" from the actual proposal. Curly Turkey (gobble) 21:41, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
