This article is about the the final of one of the most popular sports event in the world which is the Cricket World Cup. Moreover, this article is not about a future sports event which will take place 4-5 years from now, but in just a few months. I am also in the process of making major addition and changes to it and I had specifically added a template for that. Hello RoboCric, I would like to let you know that I have myself redirected the article I created to the main article 2023 Cricket World Cup. As I had mentioned before, I had only intended to create this article for the benefit of the readers and the encyclopedia, but I can completely understand the point of view given by you and other editors. . My primary purpose has always been to improve the encyclopedia. Hence, the deletion discussion can be closed as required by any closer, so that everyone else can go ahead and spend time in doing the most important thing which is to improve other articles and Wikipedia in general as well. For a non-test player, he will only qualify as an article if the player has played any ODI/T20I match for a full member team. Additionally, it is presumed that players playing in ODI/T20I matches or domestic competitions listed in WP:OFFCRIC may have sufficient coverage to meet notability. @Cric editor Definitely not close to meeting notability criteria. Stat links are not relevant. Needs detailed articles about the individual in reputable news sources.
