The result was merge with Van Halen. Given the lack of sourcing in the article, my lack of access to the main source provided, and my lack of knowledge in music topics, I am doing a "token merge", with one sentence only. Someone with access to better sources than I have may merge in more material. I would like to extend a big thank you to Miami33139 for providing a source to work from. Weak keep I hate saying that about unsourced articles; however, there are several dozen biographical books about Van Halen members and the famous boys. Most of these books contain significant information about Jan Van Halen. Particularly the first chapters of Everybody Wants Some has quite a bit of detail on Jan, and that book is often criticized as being an unoriginal compilation of other sources. Sources certainly exist to make a comprehensive article about Jan, whether it remains that he could only be notable as the father of the Van Halen brothers, well, we have articles about a lot of famous parents.
