Suspected sockpuppets

Suspected puppeteer is SPA focused on Edward Tobinick article.[1]

Within last 48 hrs many suspected socks have appeared with similar singular focus taking place either on the article page, at its current AfD, or on other users' Talk pages.[2][3][4][5][6]

This is disruptive both to the article content and consensus-forming process. Alexbrn talk|contribs|COI 13:33, 19 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Accused parties may also comment/discuss in this section below. See Defending yourself against claims.

They are either socks or meat puppets. --Doc James (talk · contribs · email) (if I write on your page reply on mine) 13:10, 20 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am a health care professional from Australia and have a single Wikipedia account. I have logged into this account from my work at the University where I teach and my home computer - therefore there are two IP addresses associated with my account. I have never had another Wikipedia account/ID and do not know any of the other people associated with the IDs listed as "sockpuppets". What I contribute is from my own knowledge and understanding of the research. I am not being "directed" by another person. Please unlist my ID from this sockpuppet investigation. Than this SPI should not be an issue. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) (if I write on your page reply on mine) 03:39, 22 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
It's not really necessary to be "directed by" another person for the policy to apply. Something like belonging to the same small internet discussion forum (perhaps a forum where an editor complained about his frustration among friends) could be sufficient, even if there was not any explicit instruction to edit the page. Disruption continues. Investigation would be useful. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) (if I write on your page reply on mine) 16:37, 9 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
