Merge with Music?

[edit]

Shouldn't this be merged with Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Music? ♫ Cricket02 03:50, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, this is for persons and groups rather than music itself. This delsort list was split from music because the general topic of music was too board. John Vandenberg 04:03, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, nice to see you again. Thanks for the answer. Understood. I asked because I generally use the box below to navigate to deletions but it only directs to Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Music and didn't realize "bands/musicians" existed. Maybe cross-linking would be an idea. ♫ Cricket02 04:16, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Nevermind, I'm just blind. I see it now. duh. ♫ Cricket02 05:07, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I was wondering if there was a WikiProject devoted to bands and/or musicians, but I've not been able to find one. Do either of you know if one exists, existed, or has been contemplated? --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 04:32, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia:WikiProject Musicians.  :) ♫ Cricket02 04:40, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You guys have a lot of free time on your hands! Who cares about a few band pages? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.201.5.100 (talk) 18:37, 1 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please help. The John Austin (songwriter) page should not have been deleted.

[edit]

The following article should not have been deleted:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/John_Austin_%28songwriter%29

All of the information contained in the article "John Austin (songwriter)" is factual. John Austin meets the notability requirements, having worked with many artists of notability, and having released publicly documented works for over 20 years. Paste Magazine has written feature articles on John Austin, and JA's album "Busted at the Pearly Gates" received an honorable mention in Paste Magazine as one of the most important albums of 2002. Please contact Paste Magazine's editor-in-chief Josh Jackson to verify.

Please put the article John Austin (songwriter) back up on Wikipedia. Thank you.

RfC about album reviews

[edit]

Talk:Boy (album)#RfC: Should two scores from Rolling Stone, from the same year, be included in the ratings box? An RfC has been added that may be of interest to this group. Walter Görlitz (talk) 21:32, 7 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Asking not to delete the StaJe artist wiki page

[edit]

The article has been considerably improved from both news citations and the artist's PR team which provided reliable information. The artist has worked with some notable artists and is soon to be signed by one of the big recording labels therefore the article will be further improved. Please consider giving some time for further improvement to come up to the policies' expectations (we're making out best right now).

Thank you

Carrie Welling -

[edit]

I'd like to request a delay in deleting the Carrie Welling entry. The folks who started it have never created a new entry before. Ms Welling has a single which is currently on a music chart and, until COVID 19 occured, she was supposed to tour with Delta Rae as part of her album promotion. I am going to make edits to the entry to add more details which hopefully will put in compliance with the standards — Preceding unsigned comment added by Unitednut (talkcontribs) 23:35, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Page Mixup

[edit]

Does anyone know why the main Wikipedia:Articles for deletion article is appearing in the middle of this page about Bands/Musicians AfD's? It started with this version: ([1]) yesterday. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 16:23, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This has now been fixed by the folks at the Help Desk. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 22:40, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
