Alexander Alexandrovich Nevsky (born Alexander Alexandrovich Kuritsyn; 17 July 1971) is a Russian non professionals bodybuilder,[1] actor, writer, and producer. He is known for playing the role of Vlad Stepanov in Moscow Heat.[2] At the age of 25 he changed his surname from Kuritsyn to Nevsky.[3]

He is also a member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and a voter for the Golden Globes.[4]

Early years

Alexander is the youngest child in the family. Father name is Alexander Nikolaevich Kuritsyn, master of sports in basketball; taught economics at MGIMO. Mother name is Evgenia Yanovna Kuritsyna, an instrument-making engineer by education.
