Armand Rural District (Persian: دهستان ارمند) is in Armand District of Khanmirza County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Armand,[4] transferred from Tang Kolureh.[5]
At the census of 2006, its population (as a part of the Central District of Lordegan County) was 14,320 in 3,016 households.[6] There were 16,080 inhabitants in 3,906 households at the following census of 2011.[7] In the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 17,368 in 4,539 households. The most populous of its 22 villages was Buger, with 2,775 people.[2]
In August 2018, the rural district and the former Khanmirza District were separated from the county in the establishment of Khanmirza County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Aluni as its capital and only city.[3]
