Atashgah (Persian: اتشگاه), also Romanized as Ātashgāh and Ateshgāh,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Arjestan Rural District of Sabalan District, Sareyn County, Ardabil province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,049 in 253 households, when it was in Sabalan Rural District of the former Sareyn District of Ardabil County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,102 people in 340 households,[6] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Sareyn County.[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 946 people in 294 households.[2]
