Bashmaq (Persian: باشماق), also Romanized as Bāshmāq,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Kolah Boz-e Gharbi Rural District of the Central District of Mianeh County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 988 in 214 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 677 people in 180 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 533 people in 156 households.[2]
