The Cluster Innovation Centre (DU-CIC) is a Government of India funded center established under the aegis of the University of Delhi. It has been founded in 2011 and introduced Innovation as a credit-based course for the first time in India.

Academic Programmes

Cluster Innovation Centre offers various courses and technology and humanities. These include two undergraduate programs, one post graduate program and one doctorate program.

  1. Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology & Mathematical Innovation
  2. Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Humanities and Social Sciences
  3. Master of Science in Mathematics Education
  4. PhD in various Interdisciplinary Sciences, Social Sciences, Education and Media subject areas.

Admissions and Cutoff

The college has an entrance exam-based admission system which comes under the process of University of Delhi. The criterion of admission is cutoff based upon CUET-UG exam for undergraduate courses[3] and CUET-PG for postgraduate courses.[4]

Objectives

Cluster Innovation Centre (CIC) was setup with the objective of fostering an ecosystem of innovation and connecting research with application for the benefit of society. The CIC aims to support application-oriented research to solve real world problems by developing ideas into innovative applications that can be commercialized successfully. The CIC will focus on developing affordable innovations that reach a large number of people and at the same time are commercially viable to be sustainable and relevant.[5]
