Darai (Persian: دارايي), also Romanized as Dārā’ī,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Koregah-e Sharqi Rural District of the Central District of Khorramabad County, Lorestan province, Iran.[4] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Dinarvand-e Olya.[5]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,726 in 552 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,765 people in 697 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,151 people in 823 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
