Dasht-e Abbas Rural District (Persian: دهستان دشت عباس) is in Dasht-e Abbas District of Dehloran County, Ilam province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Dasht-e Abbas.[4]
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 8,525 in 1,335 households, when it was in Musian District.[5] There were 9,782 inhabitants in 1,962 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 9,204 in 2,018 households. The most populous of its 71 villages was Shahrak-e Vali-ye Asr, with 942 people.[2]
In March 2017, Abu Ghoveyr and Dasht-e Abbas Rural Districts were transferred from Musian District to establish Dasht-e Abbas District.[3]
