Dishmok (Persian: ديشموك; also Romanized as Dīshmok; also known as Dīshmook and Dīshmūk)[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Dishmok District of Kohgiluyeh County, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, Iran.[4] It also serves as the administrative center for Bahmayi-ye Sarhadi-ye Sharqi Rural District.[5]
At the 2006 census, its population was 4,053 in 710 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 4,875 people in 957 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 5,791 people in 1,294 households.[2]
