Emarat (Persian: عمارت), also Romanized as Emārat, ‘Amārat, and ‘Imarat,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Qarah Kahriz Rural District of Qarah Kahriz District, Shazand County, Markazi province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 450 in 146 households, when it was in the Central District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 386 people in 134 households,[6] by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of Qarah Kahriz District. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 323 people in 130 households.[2]
