Federal Polytechnic, Oko is a Nigerian polytechnic located in Oko, Orumba North Local Government Area, Anambra State.[1] The institution was founded in 1979,[2] and was previously named the College of Arts, Science and Technology.[3][4]

Federal Polytechnic, Oko is one of the developing tertiary institutions in Nigeria. It has functional memoranda of understanding with multiple universities located both in Nigeria and internationally.[5][6]

On February 4, 2019, Dr. Francisca Unoma Nwafulugo was the first female substantive Rector to be appointed at Federal Polytechnic, Oko.[7] She was appointed by the Nigeria's Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu.[8] Prior to her appointment, she was a Chief Lecturer at the Department of Chemical Engineering at Kaduna Polytechnic.[9][10]
