Harang Rural District (Persian: دهستان هرنگ) is in Kukherdharang District (formerly Kukherd District)[3] of Bastak County, Hormozgan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Harang.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 7,251 in 1,469 households.[4] There were 8,855 inhabitants in 2,065 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 8,464 in 2,151 households. The largest of its seven villages was Harang, with 4,564 people.[2]
