Season 2

The third season of the American television mystery music game show I Can See Your Voice premiered on Fox on January 3, 2024.[1]

Gameplay

Format

Under the original format, the contestant can eliminate one or two mystery singers after each round. The game concludes with the last mystery singer standing which depends on the outcome of a duet performance with a guest artist.[2]

Rewards

The contestant must eliminate one mystery singer at the end of each of first five rounds, receiving $15,000 if they eliminate a bad singer. At the end of the game, the contestant may either end the game and keep the money they had won in previous rounds, or risk it for a chance to win $100,000 by correctly guessing whether the last remaining mystery singer is good or bad.[3]

Rounds

Each episode presents the guest artist and contestant with six people whose identities and singing voices are kept concealed until they are eliminated to perform on the "stage of truth" or remain in the end to perform the final duet.

  1. Lip Sync Showdown
The mystery singers are divided into three groups of two, and participate in a lip sync performance to one song each. At the conclusion of the performances, the contestant eliminates one performer from each group.
  2. Unlock My Life
The guest artist and contestant are presented with a video package in which one of the mystery singers discusses their life and musical qualifications.
    • A Day in the Life — The guest artist and contestant are presented with a video package chronicling the daily lives of one of the remaining mystery singers.
    • Super Fan — The guest artist and contestant are presented with a video package featuring a "super fan" of one of the remaining mystery singers.
    • Secret Snoop — The guest artist and contestant "tour" one of the remaining mystery singer's homes for clues (which may include red herrings) for 60 seconds.
  3. Interrogation
The guest artist and contestant may ask questions to the remaining mystery singers. Good singers are required to give truthful responses, while the bad singers must lie.
