Ibrahim Qusaya (Arabic: إبراهيم قصيعة), also spelled as Ibrahim Qassiya or Ibrahim Qasia[1] (7 December 1991 — 14 November 2023), was a Palestinian volleyball player.
Sports career
Qusaya was a member of the Palestinian national volleyball team.[2]
He won a bronze medal in the 2021 West Asian Beach Soccer Championship.[1][2] Together with Abdallah Al-Arqan he represented Palestine in the men’s beach volleyball event at the 2023 Asian Games in Ningbo, China.[2]
Death
On 14 November 2023, he was killed in an Israeli airstrike on Jabalia refugee camp alongside teammate Hassan Zuaiter.[1]
