Kamalabad (Persian: كامل اباد), also Romanized as Kamālābād; also known as Kermamakand, Kharmam Kand, Khermāmākand, Khermameh Kand, Kher Mameh Kand, and Kheyr Mameh Kandī,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Hajjilar-e Shomali Rural District of Hajjilar District of Chaypareh County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 380 in 79 households, when it was in the former Hajjilar Rural District of the former Chaypareh District of Khoy County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 368 people in 113 households,[6] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Chaypareh County.[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 302 people in 95 households.[2]
