Kavitha Bhatia is an Indian-American physician who is the president and chair of the Prime Healthcare Foundation.[1][2]

Education

Bhatia holds a master's degree in Healthcare Administration/Management from USC Marshall School of Business and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.[3] She is board-certified in pediatrics.[4]

Career

Bhatia currently serves as the president and chair of the Prime Healthcare Foundation.[5][6][7] She is also the Chief Medical Officer of Strategy for Prime Healthcare[8] and an associate professor of Medical Education at the California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM).[9]

Bhatia serves on the Board of Directors of the California Hospital Association and the Federation of American Hospitals.[10] She is a Founding Vice Chair of the board of trustees at the California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM).[11]

During the COVID-19 pandemic,[12] Bhatia served as the chair of Prime Healthcare's National COVID Committee and COVID 24/7 Command Center.[13]
