Kolm-e Bala (Persian: كلم بالا, also Romanized as Kolm-e Bālā and Kalam Bala; also known as Kolm-é ‘Olyā, Colmé, and Kuln)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Kolm Rural District of the Central District of Badreh County, Ilam province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 687 in 138 households, when it was in Dustan Rural District of the former Badreh District of Darreh Shahr County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 578 people in 152 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 702 people in 186 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Badreh County.[4] It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
