The Lotus Emeya is a planned battery-electric car that is intended to be produced in China under the British marque Lotus Cars by Geely. It is a grand tourer with a five-door liftback body style.[3][4] It was revealed on 7 September 2023 as the company's second vehicle produced in China, after Lotus Eletre. This car is expected to compete with the Porsche Taycan.[5]

Overview

On 29 August 2023, Lotus confirmed that the production of the Type 133 will be called Emeya. It was revealed officially on 7 September 2023 in New York City.[6][7]
