Margan-e Azizabad (Persian: مرگن عزيزاباد)[a] was a village in Qarah Quyun-e Jonubi Rural District of Showt District, Maku County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 696 in 154 households.[2]
After the census, the villages of Margan-e Azizabad, Margan-e Esmail Kandi, Margan-e Qadim, and Margan-e Vasat merged to form the new city of Marganlar,[4] capital of Qarah Quyun District in the newly established Showt County.[5]
