Marzijaran (Persian: مرزيجران), also Romanized as Marzījarān and Marzījerān; also known as Marz-e Jerān, Marzgīrān, Marzī Garān, and Marz Jerān,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Amiriyeh Rural District of the Central District of Arak County, Markazi province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 3,081 in 836 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 4,545 people in 1,388 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 4,143 people in 1,270 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
