Miqan (Persian: ميقان, also Romanized as Mīqān; also known as Meyghān and Mīghān)[3] is a village in Kharqan Rural District of Bastam District, Shahrud County, Semnan province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,207 in 587 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,967 people in 645 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 4,264 people in 1,461 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
