At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,730 in 419 households, when it was in the former Zarach District of Yazd County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,718 people in 709 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,107 people in 883 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
