Naa Desam (Telugu: నా దేశం, English: My Country) is a 1982 Telugu Patriotic film, produced by K. Devi Vara Prasad, S. Venkataratnam on Pallavi Devi Productions and directed by K. Bapaiah. Starring N. T. Rama Rao, Jayasudha in the lead roles and music composed by Chakravarthy. The film is remake of Bollywood blockbuster movie Laawaris (1981) Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Zeenat Aman in the pivotal roles.[1][2]
Left in the care of an alcoholic Kailasham (Prabhakar Reddy), a young orphan named Bharath wrestles with life at his young age. Years later, now a young man (NTR), Bharath works for Prathap Rao (Satyanarayana) and is in love with Mohini (Jayasudha), who will not have anything to do with him due to his lack of ancestry. Bharath is determined to find out who his parents are, and the only one who can help him is the elusive, alcohol-induced and incoherent Kailasham.
