Pain Barzand Rural District (Persian: دهستان پائين برزند) is in the Central District of Germi County, Ardabil province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Qasem Kandi.[4]
At the census of 2006, the rural district's population (as a part of the former Angut District) was 3,600.[5] There were 3,088 inhabitants in the following census of 2011.[6] In the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,557. The most populous of its 30 villages was Qasem Kandi, with 494 people.[2]
In September 2019, the rural district was transferred to the Central District.[3]
