Prema Simhasanam (English: Throne of love) is a 1981 Telugu, Action drama film, produced by K. Vidya Sagar on Tirupathi International banner[2] and directed by Beeram Mastan Rao.[3] The film stars N. T. Rama Rao, Rati Agnihotri in the lead roles[4] and the music is composed by Chakravarthy.[5]

Plot

Anand Varma (N. T. Rama Rao) a Zamindar. Once he sees a people auctioning a beautiful girl Rajeswari (Manju Bhargavi) daughter of a prostitute Gajjala Kanakaratnam (Pushpa Kumari). Though she born in that family Rajeswari has a good character & virtue. So, to protect her honor Anand Varma marries her which does not liked by his mother Anasuya Devi (S. Varalakshmi), so, will not allow them into house. Listening to the words of Manager Kamaraju (Nutan Prasad). Anand Varma leaves the house along with Rajeswari and accommodates themselves in a small house and starts living happily. After some time, Rajeswari becomes pregnant when she observes a women committing sucide. Rajeswari protects her and asks why she has done such deed. Then she tells she is Lakshmi (K. R. Vijaya) daughter of Anand Varma's maternal uncle who is loving him from childhood. Rajeswari gives her a assurance that her wish will be fulfilled. She takes a promise from Anand Varma, makes his marriage with Lakshmi and dies giving birth to a baby boy. Lakshmi obtains the baby her own and also consoles the depressed Anand Varma. Time passes, Lakshmi becomes pregnant and she also gives birth to another baby boy. Kamaraju takes advantage of the situation, provocates Anusuya Devi and she orders to rid off this illegal child. Kamaraju sends his henchmen to eliminate the child but Anand Varma obstructs their way and he dies while protecting the child. But the child is rescued by his loyal servant Simhachalam (Hema Sundar) and rears.

Years roll by, Raja (again N. T. Rama Rao) son of Rajeswari becomes a pop singer and he falls in love with a beautiful girl Prema (Rati Agnihotri). On the other side Lakshmi's son Kalyan (Mohan Babu) turns as a spoiled kid due to misguidance of Kamaraju & his son Ramaraju (Satyanarayana). To stop his misdeeds Lakshmi removes all his powers and stops the money flow of Kalyan. So, Kamaraju & Ramaraju plans to remove Lakshmi she is attacked by their goons, Raja comes to her rescual when she recognizes him by his resemblances. After that, Simhachalam reveals the entire story. Now Raja decides to keep up their family prestige. Finally, Raja reforms his brother Kalyan, sees the end of baddies and marries Prema.
