He made his first-class debut for North Zone in the 2018–19 Bangladesh Cricket League on 5 December 2018.[2] He made his Twenty20 debut for Khelaghor Samaj Kallyan Samity in the 2018–19 Dhaka Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League on 25 February 2019.[3] In November 2019, he was selected to play for the Rangpur Rangers in the 2019–20 Bangladesh Premier League.[4]
In February 2021, he was selected in the Bangladesh Emerging squad for their home series against the Ireland Wolves.[5][6] He made his List A debut on 24 March 2022, for Khelaghar Samaj Kallyan Samity in the 2021–22 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League.[7]
In March 2023, he earned his maiden call-up to the Bangladesh cricket team for their T20I series against Ireland.[8] He made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut for Bangladesh, on 31 March 2023, against Ireland.[9] His first scoring shot in international cricket was a six which he scored on his T20I debut off the third delivery he faced.
In December 2023, he was named in Bangladesh's squad for their white-ball tour to New Zealand.[10] He made his One Day International (ODI) debut for Bangladesh, on 20 December 2023, against New Zealand.[11] He smashed a six off the very first delivery, he faced on his ODI debut after coming into bat at number nine position.[12] He eventually became the second Bangladeshi player to hit a six off the first delivery he faced in his ODI career after Shamim Hossain.
