Sarajuy-ye Jonubi Rural District (Persian: دهستان سراجوئ جنوبي)[3] is in Saraju District of Maragheh County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Aghcheh Kohel, transferred from the village of Gol Tappeh.[5]
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 2,961 in 596 households.[6] There were 3,224 inhabitants in 845 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,957 in 1,030 households. The most populous of its 16 villages was Aghcheh Kohel, with 761 people.[2]
