Shirvani (Persian: شيرواني), also Romanized as Shīrvānī,[3] is a village in, and the former capital of, Shepiran Rural District of Kuhsar District of Salmas County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4] The capital has been transferred to the village of Delazi.[5]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,199 in 190 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,173 people in 220 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,024 people in 212 households.[2]
