Battle Angel Alita: Last Order
The original series, last order and Mars Chronicle are ONE continuous story, cut in 3 series (which started due to health issues of the mangaka). Anything relating to the OG is therefore automatically also related to the "sequels"Tag: Undo

Canon (fiction)
Not a single reputable source backs up the claim that canon needs to be accepted by the fan base. Some sources completely omit the "need to be accepted" and others merely stated that canon is accepted but do not state by whom. Saying that it is "the fan base" and not the franchise owners or staff of creators is purely personal conjecture and has no place on wikipedia

Canon (fiction)
Corrected error in article based on misinterpretation of its source. The source said that "some people don't accept canon as ..." but this doesn't define canon, it merely explains some people reject the concept. Just like how saying "some people don't accept the world to be an oblate sphere" doesn't count as evidence that the earth is flat. Thus the deleted part of the article has no source nor any support. Added a more appropriate source (Merriam-Webster) insteadTags: UndoReverted
