LGBT rights in India
→Summary table: We DO NOT have an anti-discrimination code. The SC ruling of 2018 only banned discrimination from the State, not private businesses/individuals. For that we need an anti-discrimiantion law to pass from Parliament. References have been added up.

LGBT rights in India
→Summary table: DIscrimination is only prohibited from government bodies. Fringe court cases showing courts punishing people for discriminating against LGBTQ people doesn't change the fact that we dont have an anti-discrimination law. Using this logic, there have been 2 cases where same-sex couples were allowed to marry by courts but ofc this doesnt mean gay marriage is legal in India.
