List of Britpop musicians
→Artists: Removed Open Space from the list. As stated before, this list includes actual Britpop artists (meaning British bands that did a specific kind of music during a specific era) and does not extend to Britpop-inspired bands from abroad. Open Space, a band from Belarus, can't qualify.Tags: Mobile editMobile web edit

List of Britpop musicians
Undid revision by user Pr12402. This list strictly includes actual Britpop bands, not Britpop-inspired bands. The acts that belong in this list are not only linked by a musical style, but also by their country of origin (namely the United Kingdom) and an era (roughly from 1990 to 1998-1999): Hair Peace Salon and Jitters can't qualify, both being Belarusian.Tag: Undo

→Artists: Added short-lived band Kinky Machine (plus references.) A worthy addition, I think, considering the band served as some kind of "pre-Rialto entity" and did a lot of concert openings for several high profile Britpop acts back then. Plus a couple Kinky Machine songs actually became Rialto songs a few years later, making both bands hardly severable.

→Artists: Readded Catatonia to the list, plus references for OBVIOUS reasons. User Dean12065 keeps reverting other editors' contributions despite being warned several times about his behaviour. This matter has been taken to the administrators' page. This little game can go on for quite some time, but it's getting rather tedious...Tags: Mobile editMobile web edit

List of Britpop musicians
→Artists: Re-added - yet again - Catatonia to the list, with sources stating the band was part of the original movement. Please note their first album was released in 1996 (same as Kula Shaker's or Longpigs, same year as Suede's Coming Up, too) when Britpop was in full bloom. The band was not post-Britpop, then (whether they became post-Britpop later is irrelevant: all Britpop bands that survived the era became post-Britpop in their own way at some point. Some were even considered post-pun...Tags: Mobile editMobile web edit

List of Britpop musicians
Undid revision 886135598 by Dean12065 (talk) Dean12065 keeps removing bands based on his own personal tastes, it seems. Catatonia is listed in an article used as a reference for other bands in the list, but he keeps rejecting it. As for Babybird being too "poppy" (which, incidentally, derives from "pop" as in "Britpop"), the band has been listed as "Britpop" in several articles used as references as well as on AllMusic.Tag: Undo

Next time, adding a reference that substantiates the validity of newly-added elements rather than immediately taking them out might prove more productive. Just saying...

→G: Readded The Greg Kihn Band to the list ( + link to justify the inclusion) since it was removed without any explanation. If "personal taste" explains the removal, a quick reminder that this is not a relevant motive.
