Put the New York Times citation in the correct place. The article says: "She left her position as a postdoctoral research fellow at Hong Kong University for undisclosed reasons some time ago, according to a July statement from the institution". It cannot be used as a citation for a quote that is never mentioned in the article.

Edit summary in previous edit is false (about 10 more words were used in an allegedly "more succinct" version) and ignores issues and suggested improvements mentioned in previous edit summaries and on the talk page. If you have a problem with this compromise then take it to the talk page rather than reverting and incorrectly saying the previous wording was more succinct.Tags: Manual revertReverted

→Media coverage: Correct name of the university is the University of Hong Kong, not Hong Kong University. Fixed misrepresentation (the statement says "no scientific basis", not "very little scientific basis"). Misleading use of New York Times since it only mentions that HKU confirmed she was a research fellow and left the university. Clarified what HKU was responding to, otherwise this paragraph is useless to the reader.Tag: Reverted

Moved Snopes sentence to the correct paragraph. Added that Tim Anderson joined her in the North Korea trip, per QT source.

WP:EXCEPTIONAL. Removed unverified claim about living person supported by a single source of questionable reliability. See talk (The source was accurately represented but InfoWars' website does not contain any substantial mention of Beeley, so her being a "frequent guest" appears unlikely).

The source says she met Assad in 2016, but it's unclear if it was in July and during her first visit. Included "proudest moment" quote mentioned in at least three sources. Included description of Bogdanov which indicates to the reader how he is related to Syria (since the paragraph is about Syria). Removed WP:UNDUE Pilger mention with no consensus for inclusion (see "Pilger's assessment" section on the talk page).

Removed duplicate of Daily Dot source. Political commentators on YouTube are not reliable sources. If we include one political commentator then why not include every channel that discussed this? The Majority Report's perspective would only be WP:DUE if covered in reliable sources.
