Decay (2012 film)
→Production: The Wired article does not support the statement that they had permission to film (sources conflict), but just gave permission to release. Stipulation over "sensitive areas" also not supported. (CERN doesn't have secret equipment. Filming in the LHC tunnel would be primarily a safety concern)

CERN
CERN as an entity is an IGO. Borrow phrasing from UN and ESA articles. Keep Oxford spelling of "organization"

Removed reference to fixed-target machines in the lede. Cited Fermilab article that explains the distinction

Higgs boson
Clarify that "this theory" refers to the Higgs mechanism and revert 1964 to 1960. Despite the article being about the Higgs boson, that doesn't mean every fact has to be twisted to be about the boson rather than the mechanism. Nambu and Anderson's work should not be disregarded!

Changed "in Switzerland" to "near Geneva, Switzerland". By area, most of CERN is actually in France, including building 31 where Tim Berners Lee's office was.

Higgs boson
Undid revision 865918038 by James343e (talk) The sentence is saying there's more to the Higgs mechanism than just the 1964 papers. 1960 refers to Nambu's paper on symmetry breaking.Tag: Undo

Katherine McAlpine
Changed "working for" to "working at" since none of the sources attest employment by CERN (if she only has American citizenship, she would be ineligible except for very limited exceptions).

Peter Higgs
Remove overly-cautious and overly-technical statements about the discovery of the Higgs boson from the lede. Given the results since 2012, this particle has no chance of being "undiscovered" or its name changed: it is the Higgs boson, although there is always going to be an ever-decreasing chance for it to differ from what Higgs wrote down in 1964.

→Findings since 2013: The results were announced at ICHEP in July (check sources). The relationship between partial width and branching fraction isn't obvious to most readers. Added CERN and CMS articles to complement ATLAS.
