Nigerian Civil War
The comment on the effect of the war on Pan-Africanism idealology is a personal opinion, not supported by any major debates. The Biafran flag itself uses the Pan-African colors in favor of Pan-Africanism, so this assertion is does not make sense.Tags: RevertedVisual editMobile editMobile web edit

Ibani tribe
Ibani people are an Ijaw ethnic grou and have continuously identified as such. This is supported by numerous sources including interviews with Ibani people themselves. There is a growing fascist movement among some Igbo extremists to erase the Ibani identity and they overwhelm the minority Ibanis, so this Wiki page keeps getting desecrated with false information.Tags: Visual editMobile editMobile web edit

Osu caste system
I'm Igbo, understand the culture and speak fluent Igbo. There were many falsehoods in this passage. First, Osu wasn't a caste system. People designated Osu were considered sacred, so interaction with them was forbidden. They weren't considered inferior, just off-limits, like a nun. Second, "Osu" means HOLY OR SACRED and "nwa/diala" means CHILD/OF THE LAND. The current translation is a bold-faced lie, not even close. Third, this is no longer practiced today so changing this to past tense.Tags: RevertedVisual editMobile editMobile web edit

Tennessee Whiskey (song)
Tennessee Whiskey is a blues song. It keeps getting miscredited as country, which has a very different sound. I am editing this to reflect the more accurate classification.Tags: Visual editMobile editMobile web edit

1804 Haitian massacre
Added an opposing view to the "genocide" definition and cited international law; added and cited to direct source regarding the motivation for the massacre (threat of reinvasion and reenslavement). This gives the entry a more balanced view, as the previous version was very one-sided and omitted relevant context.Tags: Visual editMobile editMobile web edit
