Magnetoreception
I removed the reference to human magnetoreception - this is not well validated (a single study of brain signals - no behaviour) and extensive testing in the past has never revealed robust evidence of magnetoreception in humans.Tag: Visual edit

Boring Billion
I re-ordered some things to group concepts together (e.g. the timespan and the epoch). I removed a comment about eukaryotes causing a Snowball Earth via a second oxygenation event - this wasn't in the stated reference and I couldn't find reference to it anywhere else. As far as I know there are several ideas concerning the glaciation but nothing is settled yet and oxygenation is not one (CO2 drawdown maybe though)Tag: Visual edit

Memory transfer
i deleted a paragraph that had misleading information. The Aplysia experiments alluded to are part of an enormous corpus of work, starting with Kandel in the 1950s/60s and extending across many labs, and the overwhelming evidence is that memory is stored synaptically. The single RNA experiment cited does not pose a significant challenge to the synaptic plasticity model of memoryTag: Visual edit
