Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology
"Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology" is not the former name of the university, it is its official name as defined in section 4 the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology Act 2010 (Vic). "RMIT University" is a trading name and wordmark that makes up the RMIT logo (along with the RMIT pixel) which is a trademark of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

EIU ranks the world's most livable city - not CNN (of which that source quotes EIU anyway). The correct EIU source is also referenced in another paragraph of the intro.Tags: Mobile editMobile app editAndroid app edit

RMIT University Library
According to the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology Act of 2010 (Parliament of Victoria), the official name the former is the official name of RMIT. "RMIT University" is also the trading name of the Australian branch of RMIT, and does not include the Vietnamese brach (RMIT University Vietnam) - of which this article covers. Hence the official name of the university, not the trading names for each country, is appropriate in naming this article.Tag: Removed redirect
