Template:User time zone editnotice/doc
→Usage: Added EDT vs EST set. For me (UK) EDT dst=no, EST dst=no, GMT dst=no, & BST dst=no all give 11:54pm. EDT, EST give 7:54am. GMT, BST give 12:54pm. This is surely not the intended behaviour, but I have been unable to produce the effect described in the last column of document. Please correct the usage and/or template so that shows that behaviour and how to use it.currentTags: Mobile editMobile web editAdvanced mobile edit

Ironic process theory
Added section on origin with multiple citations & quotes of earliest example I could find of (a) the concept, (b) "don't think about" referring to an animal, (c) to an elephant, (d) to a pink elephant specifically — all predating earliest references in article (Wegner 1987, Ghostbusters 1984).Tag: 2017 wikitext editor

Julia Pardoe
Use Template:As written on book title "The life and memoirs of Marie de Medici" (which is cited by template as an example); linkify MdM; correct "Medicis" to "Medici" as likely error based on other examples. For fact check editors: is it "Life of" (discussion) or "Life and memoirs of" (bibliography)?Tag: 2017 wikitext editor

Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties
US Dept of State cite (a) is archived not current, (b) does not say the "and binding" part, and (c) isn't authoritative (it's a FAQ entry not a law, reg, OLC memo, UNTC filing, etc). Therefore, I edited this sentence to be past tense and delete the "and binding" clause.Tag: 2017 wikitext editor

Lists of sovereign states and dependent territories
→Gross domestic product: Navbar template doesn't work on mobile and doesn't match rest of article, so I've commented it out and extracted the contents into a better arranged form for an article page. I excluded region & country specific lists as not matching the rest of this meta-list.Tags: Mobile editMobile web editAdvanced mobile edit

Abduction marriage is one party consent, not zero party consent. Might be worth adding a separate bit about zero party consent (eg assume arranged/"shotgun" marriages?).Tags: Mobile editMobile web editAdvanced mobile edit

Geas
Linked to Wiktionary; removed incorrect "alternatives" ''géis'' (old Irish "swan") and ''deas'' (Irish "southward"); replaced pronunciation with Wiktionary's (Scottish Gaelic has palatalization); added English & plural pronunciations; added IPA head note; moved derivation to after definition; removed incorrect characterization of referenced source (it's mainly about Irish) and its content (use as "spell" isn't limited to plural); added note that it's used in modern English fantasy fiction too...Tags: Mobile editMobile web editAdvanced mobile edit

Cultural depictions of Joan of Arc
→Literature and theatre: Added ''I, Joan''. No Wikipedia page for play or playwright yet AFAICT, so used links to their website and the Globe's. Suggest a more thorough editor make pages for them both; plenty of more-info links in my links, and plenty of ghits.Tags: Mobile editMobile web editAdvanced mobile edit
