@Ecrusized: If you want to contribute positively here, then add new sources to support your claims, otherwise do not simply revert because it confirms how incompetent you are to say the least! 10:05, 6 October 2023 (UTC) 2A02:908:4E3:9520:DD40:507C:B7CE:F490 (talk) 10:05, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@2A02:908:4E3:9520:DD40:507C:B7CE:F490: 1) AP News doesn't say 125 were killed, it says 89. 2) Al Mayadeen is a deprecated source. 3) China did not condemn the attack according to references. Ecrusized (talk) 10:10, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Ecrusized: If you add up the numbers you would end up with 125, duh! Keep the AP News source! Al Mayadeen is only used to refer to the regions, I do not disagree that they are biased. Then if you have certain edits regarding China or something else, then only edit that not remove whole sections! 2A02:908:4E3:9520:DD40:507C:B7CE:F490 (talk) 10:13, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@2A02:908:4E3:9520:DD40:507C:B7CE:F490: You cannot "add up" numbers. See WP:SYNTH. Ecrusized (talk) 10:15, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Ecrusized: In this case you simply can because as their source they went into details regarding casualties, so it is not about speculations! plus keep the current version, otherwise provide new sources if you want to change! 2A02:908:4E3:9520:DD40:507C:B7CE:F490 (talk) 10:18, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Borgenland: In this case they went into details as mentioned earlier, based on their source from the health ministry, what are SOHR sources which is based in London? you can write in the infobox that 89+31+5 died during the attack! 2A02:908:4E3:9520:DD40:507C:B7CE:F490 (talk) 10:23, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Before I could judge further, can someone provide a translation of the SOHR? My translator doesn't seem to be loading. Borgenland (talk) 10:26, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Borgenland: It is funny that this Ecrusized consider SOHR is reliable meanwhile Mayadeen is deprecated! Anyway, AP News should be the source to keep, does not matter what SOHR and their fan boys want to maintain here. 2A02:908:4E3:9520:DD40:507C:B7CE:F490 (talk) 10:30, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
For the record, neither SOHR or Mayadeen have been decided as contentious so far based on editors' consensus. Though I must say that Mayadeen appears to have some sort of leanings towards the Assad regime and its allies. Borgenland (talk) 10:34, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
