Okay, I typed in "parka" in wikipedia, looking for the clothing but instead I find a poorly-written article on a UK band. So I edited the page so it would redirect to Anorak. Needless to say, my edit was reverted, with no clear explaination on why it was reverted. So I redirected it again, and it was reverted again, with no clear explaination. I can bet that 85 - 90% of people who type in "parka" on Wikipedia are looking for the clothing and not the band. If there has to be an article for the band, why not create a page with this title: Parka (band). I think my edit should stay. --74.34.217.222 16:27, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Agree with you. The band seems to be non-notable. There is no need to create a separate page about the band in my opinion. The article was originally a redirect -- somebody turned into an article on band. utcursch | talk 16:33, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
