Oppose as I doubt this is a real word that has ever been applied to people with arachnophobia, even if we can guess what the word would mean. Dekimasuよ! 14:34, 4 July 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Very rare form which would usually be wikt:arachnophobe (an entry that has existed since 2007). We have blue links for Arachnophobe, Agoraphobe, Claustrophobe, Germophobe, Tetraphobe, Transphobe, etc. but not for things like Agoraphobiac, Claustrophobiac, Transphobiac, Mysophobiac, Tetraphobiac, or Transphobiac. My guess is that these forms are not usually used for phobia, and the uncommon uses you found are drawing a parallel to the form of wikt:hypochondriac. Dekimasuよ! 02:54, 5 July 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Oppose "Arachnophobiac" is not a word listed in dictionaries to refer to arachnophobia. It says something when you had to create a dictionary entry yourself just now simply to prove otherwise (but, with only a few scattered uses, it qualifies as a neologism). ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 15:10, 4 July 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
