A fact from Christian Street Historic District appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 1 January 2022 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that the proposed Christian Street Historic District(building pictured), originally settled by Irish immigrants, is also known as "Black Doctors' Row"?

Comment: This is a new article by someone who has not previously done a DYK; As nominator, I have done a QPQ review of Hebetica sylviae. Mary Mark Ockerbloom (talk) 17:54, 11 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting history to be saved, on fine sources (mostly one), no copyvio obvious. Hoe about an image? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:33, 13 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Gerda Arendt Most of the images aren't a good size/focus for DYK, but maybe this one? or a crop of it? I'm not sure how to add it to the DYK template. MaryMO (AR) (talk) 22:11, 17 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I like it. = Perhaps also add Philadelphia, for context? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:52, 17 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I notice we're using the full name with initial capitals, but stating that it is "not yet" an official historical district. So, seems to me, all or most of the many instances of "the Christian Street Historic District" in the text ought to be simply "the district" or "the proposed historic district" or "this historically important area" or similar forms.
