Consistent acronym[edit]

There seems to be a split between using ConIFA and CONIFA as an acronym in both this and child articles. Surely we should settle on one and use it consistently in text and article titles. The organisation themselves seem to use all caps, so that is what I'd suggest using (and moving all the tournament pages appropriately). Spike 'em (talk) 11:34, 6 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, rereading this article, it does seem to use CONIFA consistently, but I think the articles for individual tournaments linked to need to be changed from ConIFA to CONIFA e.g. ConIFA World Football Cup. Spike 'em (talk) 11:42, 6 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with standardising 'CONIFA,' it appears to be the official rendering of the acronym. The organisation uses all caps in its logos, social media channels, and press releases. ThisIsATravesty (talk) 10:35, 9 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I've moved the main CONIFA World Football Cup page as well as the 2018 pages. I don't know when the change from ConIFA to CONIFA happened, so not moving the older tournaments yet. Spike 'em (talk) 13:36, 9 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Something is not right (wikipedia lists too many teams)[edit]

On Conifa's website I got it to 28 teams under "Europe", but wikipedia lists 32 teams? I see that Greenland is no longer on Conife's website anymore, neither under "Europe" nor "North America". But I don't see which other three are incorrectly listed. DenSportgladeSkåningen (talk) 11:46, 31 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

2021 CONIFA Women's World Football Cup[edit]

It seems that Cascadia, Northern Cyprus, Occitania, Sápmi, Székely Land, Matabeleland and the Karens will participate in the first CONIFA Women's World Football Cup in 2021, organized by Székely Land in Romania. Normally there should be six women's teams competing, hoping there can be 8. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A01:E34:EE0E:ABD0:3C1B:7268:95B6:4CC2 (talk) 21:19, 15 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Barotseland[edit]

Why is Barotseland listed as a member of CONIFA? She is not listed as a member on the official CONIFA page. 177.91.168.2 (talk) 18:39, 30 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

CONIFA vs ConIFA[edit]

Shouldn't the name be "ConIFA" as the "Con" is for one word "Confederation", or is it officially CONIFA? Mn1548 (talk) 15:56, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
