How about changing the name of the page to "Research into cures for diabetes mellitus type 1".
Why does it say there's no cure? Isn't pancreas transplant an established cure that's been used for years?
I'd like to see some mention of the spleen cell method, even if it doesn't work in humans. Apparently mice have been cured of diabetes by that method -- I think that's worth mentioning, and then summarizing the status of that research with regards to humans. --Coppertwig 16:21, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
- Hello, Coppertwig. Thanks for your input. I have implemented your correct comments (even though "pancreas transplant" is not a cure, as immune system cells continue to attack even the new pancreas). Anyway, I could not find any reason as to why put a delete notice on the page, instead of other notices related to its content or title.
