Shouldn't this be Boeing Sea Sled? Built by Boeing in 1914, THE SEA SLED CO. BOSTON, MASS. Boeing Airplane CO. The inventor dwas Hickman.[1] and Planemakers:1 BOEING by Taylor, Michael J.H.,1982,ISN 0-86720-554-7 LanceBarber (talk) 14:34, 20 June 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

No, Boeing only became involved after WW1 temporarily. The earlier sea sleds (Vipers) were built in Pictou, NS and by Murray and Tregurtha in South Boston, MA (who also made the larger engines for the ones built for the Army and Navy). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Agsmall (talkcontribs) 03:40, 31 January 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
