alternate name Castle Hill?

I removed "also known as Castle Hill" until corroboration for that claim can be provided. There are many "castle hills" and if indeed this hill has that nickname, we need to add a disambiguation link. Still, thanks to the person who provided that tip--can you provide a link or reference to prove that it is indeed sometimes called "Castle Hill"?Harborsparrow 20:20, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Spelling correction - "mountinain" in the first paragraph should be "mountain", unless I'm mistaken.

In fact the German name for this hill is "Burgberg", which is "Castle Hill" or "Castle Mountain" in English. Whether or not it was called by that name by English-speaking persons in World War II is beyond my knowledge. So I fully agree that to state it was "known as Castle Hill" is questionable. However, it would be correct to say that the German name in English means "Castle Hill". Btw, at least the German name "Burgberg" is not a nickname. Perhaps "Castle Hill" in the meaning of "Schlossberg" would have some nickname character. The "Burg" (castle) that once was on this hill was there between 1090 and 1200 A.D. In case you speak German you can learn more about some of the older and newer history of Hill 400 by the German Wikipedia article http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berenstein Maybe we can put some of that information to this article? Any volunteers? Hill400 23:02, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
