Pure vs. puissant ?

In the French original, he says their love is too "puissant", not "pure". The word "puissant", meaning "powerful", exists in English but may be difficult to understand. Should we change "pure" to "powerful" in the article ? 201.231.171.234 (talk) 22:43, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
